Just As You Are is an extension of the ministries of Covenant Community Church of Birmingham and Spirit of the Cross Church of Huntsville. The desire is to establish a diverse community of faith that is welcoming to all people with a primary outreach not only to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender community, but also to all those who have been disenfranchised by the guilt of religion. We gather to celebrate the love of God, cultivate personal relationships with God, care about one another in Christ, and to communicate salvation through Christ to all people. We have adopted the vision of Covenant Community Church in that we seek to be an inclusive community of faith, "Offering Hope + Showing Faithfulness + Sharing Joy." With a goal of infusing God's love into life through engaging, powerful, and relevant worship and by developing supportive ministries that make a difference.
